Welcome to NowNearby! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NowNearby mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using NowNearby, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

4. Activities and Meetings

4.1 User Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for your safety when participating in activities
• We do not conduct background checks on users
• We are not responsible for the conduct of users offline
• You should exercise caution and common sense when meeting people through the Service
• You are responsible for verifying activity details and assessing safety

4.2 Payments Between Users

NowNearby does not process payments or handle financial transactions. If a host indicates a fee for an activity, any payment is arranged directly between the host and attendees.

• Attendees should confirm payment amount, method, and timing with the host before attending
• NowNearby is not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or non-payment
• Users are encouraged to communicate clearly about costs and agree on terms in advance

5. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Service.

NowNearby and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• We receive multiple reports about your conduct
• We determine your account poses a safety risk

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR USER CONDUCT on or off the platform. Users interact at their own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service or participation in activities organized through the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
